We pass through Cape Shiraki and behind it Shiraki Bay. Then the Chasing Bay, then the Little Chasing Cape, the Turkulite Bay. On Baikal it happens that different places have the same name.

But the night will rise in a very beautiful place at the mouth of the river Shegnanda. A thin strip of rocky beach, after which a strip of pebbles with sandy areas begins. And behind them are the wide spills of the Shegnandy River, more like a lake. The water in them, as in all mountain rivers, is very cold, even compared to the Baikal. After all, Shegnanda originates in the watershed of the Barguzin ridge at an altitude of 2000 meters.

We'll walk 20 km.

DAY 10

After the Shegnandy River, the Barguzin Reserve ends. Pretty wild places begin. Tunguska houses are sometimes found on the shore. And no one else... There are no people. But there are plenty of bears and other animals here.

Today our task is to pass the Angarsky sar bay, the confluence of the Upper Angara and Kichera rivers. Depending on the wave and wind, we go from the side of Baikal or the bay. The fact is that the bay is separated from Lake Baikal by a narrow long spit - Yarki Island with a 20-kilometer sand spit. We walk all day along these islands. By and large, it is one long sandy island.
