1 day. Arrival in Irkutsk

After breakfast, a group transfer to Baikal to its most central part! Small Sea.

On the way you will see a variety of landscapes of the Baikal region: the picturesque spurs of the Baikal ridge, the Tazheran steppe, the mountainous shores of the Small Sea and the island of Olkhon.

Having passed the village of Elantsy, pay attention to the bronze figure of the flying eagle - the patron of the steppe expanses of Tazheran and Olkhon. The eagle is a totemic bird of the local Buryat people, the ezhin of Olkhon Island.

Another interesting monument is installed on the observation deck of the Kurkut Gulf. Here immortalized in bronze Tramp - the hero of the Russian folk song "On the wild steppes of Transbaikalia." Remember the words of the famous song: “Glorious Sea, Sacred Baikal...”

And here it is: our glorious sea!

Upon arrival at the Small Sea - accommodation and lunch at the tourist base.

After lunch, a car tour: Panoramas of Lake Baikal and Snake Bay

Your first acquaintance with the Majestic Lake: you will see Baikal from a bird's eye view. Strait of Olkhon Gate, the southern coast of Olkhon Island, go down to Baikal, listen to the noise of its waves and wash yourself with Sacred Water, taste it.

And in winter you will see incredibly beautiful transparent, mirror ice, skate and taste the cold water from the hole you drilled with your own hands, and of course, warming tea from a samovar and delicious tincture.

We're going back to the recreation center, and we're having a hearty lunch.

On this day you can just relax, walk around the neighborhood, admiring the beauty of the Sacred Sea, climb the Sacred Mountain, located above the recreation base (it offers a delightful view of the Small Sea and, of course, tie a ribbon and make a wish), ride ATVs, go on a mini cruise on a boat or on a hivus (depending on the ice situation), go on a car tour.
