The author’s ethno-tour “On Olkhon” is a trip to the most important places of power of Olkhon Island with immersion in the original atmosphere and traditions of the peoples of the area.
The tour is designed for a group of no more than 5 people, which allows us to pay attention to each guest.

What do we do on tour?

We will visit the main attractions and places of the Force of Olkhon Island, get acquainted with the traditions and culture of the Buryat people.

Detailed programme

Day 1:
Irkutsk-Khuzhir transfer. Guest meeting.
Accommodation in a yurt camp, a short tour of the surrounding area. Afternoon.
Rest, walk to the shore of Baikal. Russian bath.
Dinner. Conversations at the fire, discussion of the program the next day.

Day 2:
Breakfast.
Excursion to Shamanka Rock.
Excursion p.Khuzhir: museum-estate of Bencharovs
Lunch.
Shchepkov Art Gallery. Souvenir shops.
Dinner. A conversation about the traditions and culture of the Buryat people.
Tea with herbs.

Day 3:
Breakfast.
Excursion to the island of Modoto overlooking the island of Edor.
Walk, free time.
Lunch is a picnic in nature.
Upon returning to the camp, a master class on the preparation of the national dish "Boozy".
Photo shoot in national costumes with aboriginal dogs Buryat-Mongolian wolfhound.
Dinner. Bath.
Talk about Buryat beliefs, Buddhism and shamanism. Tea party.

Day 4:
Breakfast.
Car excursion to the observation deck.
Water excursion to the island of Ogoi to the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment.
Lunch.
Master class "Weaving mandala - amulet" / friendly tournament on backgammon, game training.
Dinner.
A fireside conversation, a tea party.

Day 5:
Breakfast.
Car excursion to Cape Khoboi, Sagan-Khushun (Three Brothers), photo shoot at the sculpture "Master of Baikal".
Lunch.
Upon returning to the camp, rest, training in the game "Shagai Naadan" and backgammon.
Friendly tournaments.
Dinner. A bath with medicinal herbs.
A conversation at the campfire, a creative evening - a game on homus, throat singing.
