Excursion to Irkutsk, Arshan settlement
Meeting in Irkutsk at 9:00 at the airport, at 10:00 at the railway station (local time, +5 MSK).
Car sightseeing tour of the city.

The road along the beautiful mountain serpentine will lead us to the fabulous world of the Eastern Sayans, to the Tunkin valley.

The center of the balneological and mountain-climatic resort and one of the most picturesque villages of the Tunkin valley - Arshan - is located at the foot of the majestic Sayan, only 100 km from the border with Mongolia on the banks of the mountain river Kyngarga.
Going to the resort area of the village, you will visit the exotic local market of souvenirs and medicinal herbs, and then, along a beautiful forest trail, moving along the picturesque canyon of the Kyngarga River, you will get to the place where the river breaks down by a waterfall.
You will taste mineral water of different composition from healing springs and visit the active Buddhist temple - datsan Bodhiharma. accommodation in a Buryat family.

Transfer to the island of Olkhon, to the village of Khuzhir (300 km).
A short ferry trip through the Strait of Olkhon Gate.

Hoboi Cape
All-day trip to Cape Hoboi (the northern tip of the island).
The spectacular column-shaped rock that gave the name to the cape has its own legend.
The cape is located near the widest place of Baikal (79.5 km).
It is here that you will have the opportunity to assess the size of the lake, which the locals usually call the sea.
Along the way you will see all the variety of landscapes and natural monuments of the Island: the picturesque steppes of northern Olkhon, the rock “Three Brothers”, the stilt trees of the Peschanoe tract.
At the stop, you will be waiting for a picnic dinner cooked at the stake.

Holiday on the island.
Olkhon concentrated on its territory all the variety of natural landscapes of the Baikal coasts.
Visit the famous 3-kilometer beach of Sarai Bay with snow-white sand: unusual nature and pure water of Baikal!
You can also visit water, horse and car excursions (optional, for an additional fee).
From the administrator of the base or in the excursion bureau of the village you can order excursions: to the Buryat village (from 600 rubles / person), to the southern part of Olkhon Island, to Lake Yalga, to the Tashkinay Pad, to the salt lake Shara-Nura (from 800 rubles / person); excursions by boat on the lake to the island of Ogoy (~650-1450 rubles / person), etc.

Going home
After breakfast, we say goodbye to Olkhon and return to Irkutsk, transfer to the railway station.
