1 day. Excursion to Listvyanka p.

Welcome to Irkutsk! No wonder this Siberian city is called the “Gateway of Baikal!” The journey will begin at the airport (or railway station): You will be met by a guide who knows everything about the nature and beauty of the Baikal region. He will be your companion throughout the journey.

Transfer to Listvyanka. On the way we will visit the Baikal Museum.

Baikal Limnological Museum is one of the three existing museums of lakes in the world and the only one in Russia.

There is also a limnological aquarium, which gives visitors an opportunity to look into the underwater world of Lake Baikal and see with their own eyes live omules, grays, breams, as well as crustaceans, sponges and mollusks, seals in conditions close to natural.

Next, you will climb to the top of one of the coastal mountains in the village of Listvyanka, 755 meters high – the Chersky stone. From here opens a fascinating in its beauty panorama of the lake.

Architectural and ethnographic museum "Taltsy" is a unique collection of monuments of history, architecture and ethnography of the XVII-XX centuries. It is located on the right bank of the Angara on the 47th kilometer of the Baikal tract on the road from Irkutsk to Baikal. The open-air museum complex attracts visitors with the possibility of direct acquaintance with the material and spiritual culture of the peoples of the Baikal region. Then you will visit the Architectural and Ethnographic Museum “Taltsy”.

2 days. Circum-Baikal Railway

Breakfast. Today you will have an exciting adventure.

On a hovercraft - chivus you will go to the Circum-Baikal railway. This will be your first time on the ice.

The guide will tell you about the history of the construction of the unique railway, the secrets and legends that surround it and, of course, about today’s life as one of the attractions of Baikal.

The tour will take about 5 hours. During this time you can see galleries, tunnels and bridges.

On the way - lunch at one of the recreation centers.

Return to Listvyanka. Rest. A nice ending of the evening will be a photo shoot with Siberian dogs – husky. You will be able to cuddle with these furry friends and take great pictures.

3 days. Sand Bay, Small Sea

Breakfast. Today will be a long day.

After a hearty breakfast, we will sit in the already familiar hivus and go to the next point of our route - the Small Sea. The transition will take about 5 hours.

On the way there is a stop in Peschanaya Bay. Here you can see the famous "stilted trees" - their mighty roots are exposed due to constant winds and water. You will also see picturesque rocks and shores. And of course, if you are lucky, you can see the transparent Baikal ice.

Upon arrival, accommodation in double comfortable rooms of the category "standard" recreation center "Uyuga". Dinner. Rest. After walks and photoshoots departure further - to the Small Sea.

4 days. On the islands of the Small Sea

Today, after breakfast, we will go to conquer the Baikal ice expanses of the Small Sea.

We will certainly find clean ice, fabulous ice grottoes and frosty Baikal wind.

The tour will take place on a hivus.

We will also visit the island of Ogoi - the largest island of the Small Sea, its length is 3 km.

But in 2005, the sacred Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment was built on the island. It is believed that Buddhist stupas are designed to dissolve all negative obstacles in the world, favorably contribute to the prosperity of the area where they are built and benefit people, especially those who visit these stupas consciously.

With new knowledge, emotions and photos we will go back to the hotel.

5 days. Olkhon Island

Today we will go to the heart of Baikal – Olkhon Island.

We will visit Khuzhir, see the famous Shamanka rock (Cape Burkhan) and get acquainted with the life of the village. We will also taste the national Buryat dish - boozy.

After lunch we will go to the northernmost point – Cape Hoboi. The spectacular pillar-shaped rock, resembling an externally sharp fang, from the sea side, has a pronounced similarity to the profile of a woman's head with a bust, as in ancient Greek galleys from the east and west.

In the evening, return to the recreation center. Dinner.

6 days. Irkutsk

Breakfast. Transfer to Irkutsk (240 km).

On the way - lunch in the ethno-park "Golden Horde". Master class in booze making. Tasting of national Buryat drinks.

After lunch - departure to Irkutsk (70 km). Hotel check-in.

Sightseeing tour of the city. Rest.
