What do we do on tour?

Programme summary

1 day – arrival in Irkutsk, transfer to a hotel on the shore of Lake Baikal. Walk along the coast in Listvyanka, visit the observation deck. Russian bath.

Day 2 – observation of the Baikal seal in the Baikal Museum. Excursion by boat to the legendary Circum-Baikal Railway. Dinner from taiga cuisine.

Day 3 – a trip to Olkhon on a high-speed boat along the picturesque coast. Acquaintance with the culture and cuisine of Buryats, meeting with a real shaman. Treat national Buryat cuisine, culinary master class.

Day 4 – a trip on SUVs to the most beautiful corners of Olkhon, a visit to the mystical Places of Power. Excursion to the “Guardian of Baikal” – a sculpture of the famous Dasha Namdakov.

5 day – excursion by boat along the Strait of the Small Sea, along the taiga shores of the picturesque Primorsky Range. Visit the Buddhist stupa of the goddess of Enlightenment on the island of Ogoi. Fishing. Dinner of fresh Baikal fish dishes.

Day 6 is a free day in Olkhon.

Day 7 – return to Irkutsk, through the Tazheran steppes, with a visit to the Valley of Stone Spirits and a walk along the tops of the rocky cliffs above Baikal. Acquaintance with the capital of the Angara region, visit the gallery of modern Buryat art. Final dinner.

8 days – departure from Irkutsk airport.
