May Baikal. Maral flowering

May is an amazing time – the time of Baikal’s awakening. Life is already boiling around the lake: young grass appears, snowdrops and marallocks bloom, buds open on the trees; and Baikal itself begins to wake up from winter sleep. Especially picturesque blossoming valleys and mountain slopes you can see on a tour of the Circum-Baikal railway and in the Sayan, in the pos. Arshan.
