Irkutsk - Taltsy - Listvyanka

Upon arrival in the city of Irkutsk, you will meet with a guide who will become your guide for the entire journey!

Acquaintance with all participants of the adventure.

The general fee is set for 10 am, please purchase tickets for flights taking into account arrival no later than 09:45.

After a long flight, you will have the opportunity to slowly drink a cup of coffee and get luggage.

Today you will get acquainted with Baikal!

After leaving the city, you will get to the picturesque Baikal Highway - the famous "presidential" road, the shortest way to the lake.

On 47 km of the road, there is a unique architectural and ethnographic museum "Taltsy".

Four historical and cultural zones are recreated here: Buryat, Evenki, Russian and Tofalar – according to the indigenous peoples of the Baikal region.

After the walks and photo shoots, you will be back on the road.

A few minutes on the road, and here it is – Baikal!

The village Listvyanka is the most famous and visited tourist place on Baikal.

Lunch in the restaurant with a panoramic view is the perfect scenery for exploring Baikal cuisine. Bon appetit!

After lunch, Baikal Limnological Museum.

A special part of the tour will be virtual immersion to the bottom of Lake Baikal, using materials from expeditions of deep-sea research vehicles of the MIR.

At the end of the day on the funicular you will climb to the observation deck of the Chersky Stone (800 m), which offers stunning views of the Primorsky Range, Baikal, Angara, Shaman Stone, the Circum-Baikal Railway and the Hamar Daban mountain range.

In the cozy hotel "Nikola", which is located within walking distance from the shore of Lake Baikal, you are already waiting.

You will be staying here for the next two days.

Listvyanka - Tankhoy - Listvyanka

Happy first morning on Baikal!

After a delicious homemade breakfast, you will meet with the guide and go to the pier.

Here you will be waiting for a personal speedboat and, having passed more than one hundred storms, the Baikal captain!

Have you noticed that Baikal is called the sea?

Today you will feel why! When Listvyanka hides in the distance, and there is only water around, it is very difficult to believe that this is not sea space.

Your course for today is the opposite coast, namely Tankhoy, the territory of the Republic of Buryatia, which means that you will take part in the crossing of Baikal (40 km) and will be in a real reserve!

A great opportunity to visit the Far East without leaving Baikal.

Just imagine: here the high-mountain tundra perfectly coexists with the fir-cedar taiga; here in the vicinity of the Hamar-Daban mountain range, bears roam, roe deer, zubri, deer and, of course, sables live!

Here originate the mountain rivers that feed Baikal.

Incredibly beautiful and truly protected places!

To begin with, you will visit the hospitable visit center of the Baikal Reserve, and then, accompanied by a huntsman, go on a small hike along the eco-path, which, passing through cedar alleys and a horse marsh, will lead you to the waterfall on the Osinovka River.

You are waiting for lunch in a real winter, taiga tea from herbs, funny stories and rest with all your heart!

To say goodbye to the reserve, we will get acquainted with the precious inhabitants of Buryatia - Barguzin sables - Tuchka and Thunder.

It was for the sake of the Barguzin sable that the first reserve in Russia was created more than a hundred years ago.

In the evening, return to Listvyanka, by the same route, by sea.

Dinner in the restaurant, rest and a great healthy sleep!

Listvyanka - Irkutsk - MRS - p. Khuzhir (Olkhon island)

Let's go to Big Baikal!

Olkhon Island is waiting for you.

There is no more attractive place on Baikal than this island.

It's considered a place of power. It is often called the sacred heart of Baikal.

On the way we will visit Irkutsk and get acquainted with the beauty of our glorious city.

This year, Irkutsk is 358 years old and has something to show and tell about itself.

After a walk around the city, we continue!

You will be waiting for a stop in the ethno-park "Golden Horde", where you can touch the culture of the indigenous population of the Baikal region - listen to the mesmerizing throat singing, have lunch in a huge Buryat yurt and participate in a master class on sculpting a traditional Buryat dish - bouz.

When we get stronger, we get on the bus and move on.

Steppes, forests, mountain passes, and quite other steppes, not similar to the former, flash outside the windows.

The road is very picturesque, and leads to a ferry to the island of Olkhon.

In order not to stand in line for the ferry crossing, and combine the pleasant with the interesting - we get into the boat and go to the island of Ogoi.

The island is uninhabited, and a little over ten years ago the All-Good Stupa of Enlightenment was established here.

Walk around the island and join the local traditions of Buddhism.

Return to the boat, and it will carry you further - to the long-awaited acquaintance with the island of Olkhon!

Upon arrival on the island you will stay in the cozy hotel "Baikal Wood". Room check-in.

You will have time to rest and prepare for dinner.

In the evening you can walk along the coast or go to the sunset wires to the legendary Shamanka rock, Cape Burkhan is the most recognizable place, so beloved by many painters, sung in poems and songs.

And, of course, swim in Baikal on one of the surrounding beaches.

Khuzhir - Khoboy - Khuzhir (on Olkhon island)

After so many busy days, we offer to enjoy the morning scenery, walk along the shore, ride a bicycle or just read the sound of the waves.

There's no rush at all. In the afternoon, after lunch, in comfortable minivans you will go to explore the island to its northernmost part (the length is almost 72 km, for comparison: Boracay in the Philippines is 10 times smaller, only 7 km).

This route from south to north allows you to see all the natural diversity of the island:

First, the road will pass through a small forest, then you will observe the hills and steppes, then you will move through the Peschanoe tract.

The bay justifies its name, you will see real dunes!

Next, you will see unique rock complexes, especially the Cape Sagan-Hushun (we also call it the Three Brothers).

Every corner of the island is accompanied by many legends, stories and stories.

And finally, you will arrive to the very north of the island - Cape Khoboy (translated from the Buryat "fang"), a place special, sacred.

It is here that you can feel yourself both on the edge of the island and on the edge of the Earth, because you will see the endless water expanses of Baikal, which will allow you to feel yourself a part of the universe.

The steep cliffs, the absolute silence, the infinity of the sky and the water surface – it seems as if Eternity settled here. How will you feel?

After a picnic dinner, filled with impressions and real Baikal power, you will go back to Khuzhir.

Khuzhir (Olkhon Island) – P. Listvyanka – Irkutsk

The morning on Olkhon is always a special time.

The sun floods the island, Khuzhir wakes up and how great it is not to rush anywhere.

Let's take a walk around the village to say goodbye. What if you haven't been everywhere yet? Museum? Church? Port? Delicious French bistro with delicate croissants and coffee? And, of course, the Oshchepkov Gallery!

We invite you to a master class on creating the best souvenir in memory of Lake Baikal – under the guidance of the Olkhon artist to paint one of the Baikal pebbles to take it with you.

Or, giving a part of yourself when creating a picture, leave this pebble to Baikal as a memory.

In the evening, the group will gather together and head south to the island.

Here you will board a rather rare transport - a hydrofoil vessel.

Most often they can be found in the Crimea and on the major rivers of our country.

On this speedboat you will pass along the picturesque western shore of Baikal – rocky banks and green forests, picturesque beaches, blue sky and fluffy clouds will swim in the distance – seize the moment!

And in the distance you can see the beautiful peaks of Hamar-Daban – mountains on the eastern bank of Baikal, at the foot of which you were at the beginning of the tour!

Late in the evening you will arrive in Listvyanka, say goodbye to Baikal and promise to see him again.

In just an hour you will be in Irkutsk, the bus will take you to the hotel "Irkutsk".
