Five days on the ice of Baikal

DAY 1

Arrival in Irkutsk. The group meets at the city airport at 9:00. There will be a guide with a sign "Baikal". Getting on the truck.

Obtaining provisions and obtaining a permit in the national. Park (payment is included in the tour price). Transfer by bus to the village Listvyanka (70 km). The road resembles a ride from slide to slide along mountains and hills, from where the beautiful Angara glimpses. The trip takes 60 minutes and is very picturesque.

Visit to the Chersky stone, panoramic view of the Angara. Visit to the Baikal Museum. The museum in the village is unique and even has a small aquarium with representatives of the lake. Here you can read about Baikal, consider different models of the lake, learn as much as possible, so that later our trip was already a pleasant addition to the knowledge gained.

Lunch in the village Listvyanka It will be possible to buy and taste all types of cooking Baikal omul. Dinner time is 1 hour, paid by participants on the spot.

Accommodation at the recreation center of economy class. Accommodation for 2-3-4 people. Discussion of plans, distribution of products. Meet the participants. Allocation of duty! Preparation and inspection of equipment (skis, skates, sticks - for those who took with them or rented).

I'll meet you tonight. Safety equipment on the route. If there is time, inspect Baikal for the condition of snow on the ice. In good weather - photos of the sunset right on the ice. Dinner.

Note: in the event of a delay for any reason, tourists will independently catch up with the group. We recommend arriving the day before the tour begins!

DAY 2

Breakfast. Transition along Baikal to the village of Big Cats. Warm-up and easy crossing (about 15 km).

It will be much easier to walk if you have a sleigh or a drag. At the same time, sledges can be ordinary, children's. Lease is possible upon request.

It is a picturesque area, especially in sunny weather, but Baikal is often covered with snow, and the best is yet to come. Rocks, ice, ice. Baikal is very beautiful on the ice. The transition is carried out by skating, skiing or on foot. Be sure to buy rubber bands with spikes for walking on ice, ice is usually sold in winter in each city. Otherwise, you will have to screw screws directly into the shoes.

Each participant goes to Baikal in warm shoes, and skates take with them. If the ice is in good condition, we wear skates. We will usually be there by lunchtime. After lunch, we are waiting for a lift to the observation point for those who wish. Night at the recreation center. Dinner.

DAY 3

Breakfast. Transition to Cape Kadil (11 km). On the way, we climb Mount Screeper (leave things below), from where the panorama of the lake opens in all its glory! Below the rocks, you can observe huge hummocks of Baikal ice, up to 1 meter thick. Night on the cordon "Cadile" (super economy, on the floor, wooden beds, etc.) or the village of Big Holoustnoe. Depends on the pace of the group.

Day 4

Breakfast. Transition to the village Big Holoustnoe (17 km). On the day before, the day before. Ice riding. We're skating, skiing or walking. Lunch. In poor condition of ice - bypass along the coast. Bath night. Night at the recreation center.

DAY 5

Breakfast. Departure by bus early in the morning to Irkutsk. Completion of the program.
