Description:
The Tale of Gesar is a heroic epic of the peoples of Central Asia. Gesar, the son of a heavenly deity, was sent to earth to fight evil. The path along the “Land of Gesar” leads to the protected places of the Tunkin Valley through the famous “Circum-Baikal” to the sands and pines of the magical island of Olkhon.
The trip will begin in Irkutsk, one of the most beautiful and ancient cities of Siberia. Then move to Buryatia, to the majestic mountains of the Eastern Sayan covered with ancient legends, healing mineral springs, the purest mountain rivers. On the Circum-Baikal railway - a unique monument of engineering architecture - the train will take you to the "gates of Baikal", as the village-port Listvyanka is called. From here you will make a move to the island of Olkhon – a place of ancient legends and historical legends.
