Tour programme

Day 1

Irkutsk - P. Khuzhir - Cape Burhan

Meeting of the group at the airport of Irkutsk at 10-00. Transfer by comfortable minibus (Mercedes or Ford) to the hotel on the island of Olkhon (Lake Baikal). On the way, you will stop at a cafe for lunch, where you will try traditional Buryat cuisine.

Next, the path will pass through an amazingly beautiful section of the Tazheran steppes. Bright blue sky, yellow grass and snow-white caps of hills. We'll make a photo stop here. Stop on the ice crossing for the first time to touch the legendary transparent ice.

Approximate time of arrival in the village of Khuzhir 16-00. Hotel check-in. Walk to Cape Burhan (Shamanka Rock) at sunset. Dinner. Meet the band. Hotel night.

Day 2

Ogoy island - South of Olkhon island - Trident massif - species sites on the Big Sea - caves of Shebet Cape

Breakfast. At 10:00 departure to the bays of the southern part of Olkhon to observe methane bubbles frozen in the water column. We will take with us supplies of hot water and secret solutions that make the ice thickness as transparent as possible. Underwater gardens of billions of bubbles can be viewed endlessly! Along the way, you will visit the island of Ogoi and take great photos against the backdrop of the iconic protrusion of the Dragon Claw rock. At the very top of the island you will see the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment, which gives calmness and fulfills desires. Think about what you have dreamed of for a long time and it will come true!

Next, we visit the Trident rock massif, from which very beautiful views open in all directions. The very geology of this place is striking in its beauty - yellow mosses on dark stones create a great contrast. View panoramic views of the Big Sea from our branded locations. Lunch in nature. Enjoy the smell of omul ears.

Visit the caves of Shebet Cape or in the bays of the southern part of Olkhon. Back to the hotel. Hotel night.

Day 3

Khuzhir - Cape Khoboy - island of Yelenka

In the morning you will walk around Khuzhir, get acquainted with the local way of life. The settlement is timeless, only small modern guest houses allow you to remember that now is the XXI century. You can buy smoked fish, both cold and hot smoked, and local souvenirs. Lunch is free. At 13:00 departure on a hivus in the direction of Cape Khoboy, this is the northernmost tip of Olkhon. Inspection of the islands of the Small Sea of Baikal. Lunch on the ice of the lake. Huge rocks, all kinds of grottoes and caves, fantastic ice splashes will make an indelible impression on you. Visit to Yelenka Island. Return to the hotel approximately at 18:00. Rest.

Day 4

Panoramic platforms to the east and west from Olkhon Island

Breakfast. At 10:00 departure to the North of the island on top. On the way, you will have a chance to see yaks and raisins. Stop and inspect the unusual sculpture "Guardian of Baikal". Lunch in nature. Visit to Cape Khoboy from the upper observation deck. Photostops near the highest cliffs of the eastern and western sides of the island. Impress with large-scale and breathtaking views of the Big and Small Seas of Baikal. Visit the grottoes with beautiful splashes and hummocks around the island of Harants. Back to the hotel. In the evening you can visit the Siberian bath. Rest.

Day 5

Khuzhir - Irkutsk

Breakfast. Eviction from the hotel at 10-00 and transfer by minibus to Irkutsk. Lunch at the cafe on the way. Visit the central market of Irkutsk to buy souvenirs and delicacies. The tour to the winter Baikal is over, five days have passed like one moment, but memories and emotions will remain with you for a long time. And you might want to come back again. Checked!

1. Accommodation in cottages in the village of Khuzhir. (2 local rooms). In each room, a bathroom. node (toilet, sink, shower), two single beds, a nightstand, a closet, a table, a refrigerator, a TV, a kettle.
2. Meals according to the program. 1 day: dinner; 2 and 4 days: breakfast, lunch; 3 and 5 days: breakfast. In addition to traditional cuisine, you will taste local delicacies, including delicious ears cooked directly on the ice.
3. Program transfers during the tour. Moving on the route Irkutsk-Khuzhir-Irkutsk - Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or Ford Transit. Moving - UAZ vehicles and a hovercraft (chivus) on the 3rd day of the tour.
