Bolsherechensky District Historical and Local Lore Museum

Bolsherechensk Museum of Local Lore was founded as a national museum of local lore in 1959.

The museum funds are based on the personal collection of the writer and local historian V.S. Anoshin. Here you can get acquainted with collections on archaeology, paleontology, ethnography. The objects of the museum display are more than 20,000 units of storage of the main and scientific and auxiliary funds.

Bolsherechensk Museum of Local Lore is currently a research and educational institution, a repository of archaeological, historical-ethnographic, artistic and other monuments of material and spiritual culture.
