Kolosov District Historical and Local Lore Museum

Omsk region, Kolosovsky district, Kolosovka village, Kirov str., 24

About the company:

The basis of the museum collection was laid by objects transferred from the school museum by V.F. Korneev. By the time the museum opened, there were about 300 exhibits.

The official opening of the museum took place on November 20, 1994, just in time for the 70th anniversary of the district. The head of the museum was I.A. Kontova, and the designer was A.G. Trofimenko. The museum occupied the wing of the former elementary school. In October 2012, the museum moved to a new location in the center of the village. The area for exhibitions, unfortunately, has decreased.

Over the years, the main fund of the museum has increased from 459 units to 3,905 units. The museum funds were replenished with various collections: ethnography, history of technology, printed sources, decorative and applied art, etc.
