Muromtsevo District Historical and Local Lore Museum

Muromtsevo Museum was established in 1985.

The objects of the exposition complex reveal the richest material and spiritual culture of the ancient and modern history of the district. The archaeological exhibition covers the period from the late Neolithic to the XVIII century AD. The museum is especially important for those who are interested in the history of settlement, the folk culture of Priirtyshye, the nature of the region. The fund holds more than 15 thousand items, including a unique paleontological collection.

The museum interacts with educational institutions of the district, travel companies, travel clubs and local historians.
