The museum was opened on a voluntary basis. The materials were collected by the red trackers of the city under the leadership of Lobanova A.G., the former director of the House of Pioneers and Schoolchildren, veterans of civil and WWII, labor veterans. Since 1978, the museum functions as a branch of PGOM named after B, K, Arsenyev. In 1983 the museum moved to a new building. In 1986, the museum reopened to visitors with a new exposition. The new exposition included departments: Nature Protection, Suchansky Mine in the period from 1896 to October 1917, Suchansky Mine during the Civil War and Military Intervention (1918 - 1922), Partizansk in the 30s - 40s, Partizansk during the Second World War, Partizansk in the 40s - 80s, Pashkov Hall, Exhibition Hall of Local and Regional Artists and Masters of Applied Art. |
