The Literary and Memorial Museum of the writer A.G. Malyshkin was opened on March 21, 1977. The first exposition reveals the history of the emergence of the Moksha Territory, the construction of a county town with its unique architectural ensemble, which to this day adorns the center of the village. Continuing the journey into the XIX century, we get into the world of Russian life - the bakery of the Malyshkin family. The exposition presents those household items used by ordinary and wealthy peasants. Here is the exposition “Fair in the county city”. In the girls’ room, you can get acquainted with the letters of the sisters Anna and Claudia, who tell visitors about the birth and childhood of brother Alexander. The atmosphere of Sasha’s room is recreated from the memoirs of the writer’s sisters. Visitors to the museum have the opportunity to get acquainted with Alexander, a high school student who later becomes a student of the historical and philological faculty of St. Petersburg University. The living room of the Malyshkin family is the richest memorial room: a Viennese set, a wall clock with a battle, table serving items in a cupboard, a samovar. A unique corner of Russian life of the early XX century. opens the bedroom of parents. The exposition presents household items.
