Sanatorium "Duzhonok" in the city of Pervouralsk

The sanatorium is located in a pine forest on the banks of the Chusovaya River, 60 kilometers from Yekaterinburg, 17 km from Pervouralsk. The forest around Dujonka is coniferous. The most common type of tree is pine. Forests give not only a breath of fresh air, but also give pleasure from the contemplation of real beauty. Sixteen areas of the forest near Dujonka are declared botanical monuments of nature, and the forest itself is assigned category I.

The inhabitants of the forest are animals adapted to life in the vicinity of man: fox, hare, wolf, boar. There are fur animals: squirrel, mole, muskrat, beaver.

Among the birds predominate: deaf, grouse, grouse, tit, sparrow, crow and songbirds. Woodpeckers and cuckoos are common.

In the Chusovaya River and the Bilimbayke River there are bream, yam, chebak, perch, pike, yarsh, mould. In Bilimbayevsky pond there is a special resident - carp.

Employees of the sanatorium-preventory respectfully and very carefully treat the natural wealth that surrounds them. In 2003, the company took part in the competition “Living Springs”, which was organized by the Charitable Foundation “Pervouralsk XXI Century” with the support of the Canadian Foundation “Civil Society”. The spring itself and the territory around it were cleared, a gazebo was installed, stone steps and curbs were built. The spring "Waterfall" - as the winner of the competition is included in the regional register of springs of the Sverdlovsk region.

The competition was not a one-time action - the staff of the sanatorium regularly maintain cleanliness and order at this place. That is why the spring becomes one of the attractions of Pervouralsk, this is a place of family recreation of residents of the nearest village, a favorite hiking tour for vacationers sanatorium - dispensary "Duzhonok"
