The Vachkazhets mountain range is a complex of volcanic circuses separated by an eruption. The height of the mountain is 1556 meters above sea level. At the foot of Mount Vachkazhets is located Lake Tahkoloch, a kind of “heart of Vachkazhets”. This place is unique in that nature shows its severity and at the same time life exists in constant confrontation, the two seasons are constantly competing with each other! Here together coexist cold piercing wind, walking among huge, dazzling white snowballs with fragile high-mountain flowers blooming on green meadows. Only a few meters can separate the harsh lifeless cold and saving for all living oasis. With us you will see all the sights of the Vachkazhets mountain massif, walk along the eco-path, see waterfalls, mountain circuses, bears. You will also learn about the plants and endemics of Kamchatka growing in the zone of high-altitude tundra, and at the end of the tour you will have lunch on the shore of Lake Tahkoloch with water as clear as a tear, surrounded by mountain ranges, birds singing and wind whispers.
