Excursion to Vilyuchinsky waterfall
Description:
Vilyuchinsky waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Kamchatka, located just a few hours drive from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Falling vertically down from the cliff adjacent to the slope of the Vilyuchinsky volcano, it leaves an indelible impression of its majestic beauty. The waterfall owes its appearance to the melting snow. The height of the main cascade is approximately 40 m. The road to the waterfall runs through a stone birch forest, here and there strewn with huge stone blocks - volcanic bombs. The ascent to the waterfall is easy, part of the pedestrian path passes through the thickets of the alder stlanik.
