Excursion to the small valley of geysers
Description:
At the foot of the Mutnovsky volcano is the largest geothermal site in the world, this field is Mutnovsky Geoelectric Power Plant, which with the help of superheated steam energy generates electricity and provides half of the Kamchatka energy hub.

But in a small gorge, not far from the station there is a “small valley of geysers”, a unique place where everything lives at every step, “squarks and clutters”! Unimaginable contrasts of thermal clay, geysers, and alpine herbs and snowdrifts amaze visitors to this place. Such was the land at the time when everything was just beginning, primitive, harsh and dangerous! The boiling steam-cycle jets are concentrated on the right and left banks of the gorge, and in the middle there is one of the pulsating geysers, which with its roar, hiss tells about the mighty force that is under your feet. This place is not for nothing called the Mini Valley of Geysers, because people who visited the Valley of Geysers, in the Kronotsky Reserve, did not feel much difference, except for the size and scale of geothermal phenomena. Therefore, the “mini valley of geysers” is a budget way to see Geysers with your own eyes.

This fascinating excursion will not leave anyone indifferent, stunning views, volcanoes, mountain road, swimming in summer thermal springs with unique water, clays and much more, up to cooking eggs in a geyser waiting for you!
