Lake Kurilskoye is located in the extreme south of the Kamchatka Peninsula and is the second largest freshwater body in the entire region. On the lake are composed of lava islands, which are domes, all together they create a picturesque picture at any time of the year. Also in the Kuril lake spawns the largest herd of sockeye in Eurasia, there are hot springs, and the animal and plant world is admired by everyone who visited this place. Undoubtedly, Lake Kurilskoye is one of the most remarkable natural objects of Kamchatka, which are of outstanding importance for scientific, cognitive and recreational research.
