Tolmachevsky waterfalls, located in the beautiful region of Kamchatka, are part of those unique places that are protected by the state and belong to natural monuments. The fact is that until 2000 Tolmachevsky waterfalls were a group of three waterfalls and were very picturesque, the total fall of waterfalls was 30-40 meters. But after the construction of the mini-HPP regime system of the river was significantly changed and the safety of the waterfalls suffered.
Currently, there is one large waterfall with a height of 14 meters, which fills the 70-meter width of the cliff at the place of falling water during floods. Despite the partial preservation Tolmachevsky waterfalls still represent the natural value of Kamchatka.
