About the company:
Bystrin Museum is the only ethnographic museum in Kamchatka. It was founded in 1982, located in the center of the village of Esso, on the banks of the mountain river Uksichan (translated from Even "Hot Water"). The museum ensemble was originally an architectural complex of the Cossack prison in the style of Russian architecture of the XVII-XVIII centuries, which included an order (yasak) hut, a defense tower, a barn for storing household items and horse harness. Later, the building of the exhibition hall was built, organically fit into the overall architectural style. In 2003, the Koryak semi-underground dwelling of the XIX century was built, a little later - the Koryak labaz. On the territory of the museum there is a composition of wooden carved sculptures in the open air on mythological themes of the aborigines of Kamchatka.
