Auto-tour "All Kamchatka"

On this tour, we have collected all the most interesting things that are worth visiting at the first acquaintance with Kamchatka. We will travel to two completely different regions of the peninsula. In the south of Kamchatka, we will climb two unique volcanoes – Gorely and Mutnovsky. In the north, we will visit the Tolbachik volcano, see frozen lava flows, go down to lava caves and spend the night in the Dead Forest. And also make a tour of the Pacific Ocean, practice sea fishing and observe the marine inhabitants. We will move on a comfortable SUV, specially prepared for hard-to-reach places.

Day 1

Beginning of adventure

A group meeting at the airport. With participants who arrive before 14:00, we will start our acquaintance with Kamchatka from the Pacific coast. We will have lunch on the black volcanic sand, meet and discuss our upcoming trip. Then we go to the city and spend the night in a hotel.

Day crossing - 110 km.

Day 2

Sea excursion

Early in the morning we go to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. By sea boat we will go to Avacha Bay and the Pacific Ocean. We will approach the island of Starichkov, where colonies of sea birds and spotted seals live. During the sea tour there will be fishing for flounder, tart and sea bass. The cook will prepare a hot seafood lunch. Near the exit from Avacha Bay, there is a possibility to meet killer whales and whales. We'll be back in town after lunch. The duration of the sea tour is 6-7 hours.

From Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky we go on a trip to the south of Kamchatka. The road passes through the Vilyuchinsky Pass, where we will rest on the observation deck. In the evening we will come to the caldera of the Gorely volcano, where we will set up a tent camp. Overnight in tents.

Day 3

Volcano Burned

Climbing the Gorely volcano. After breakfast, we will take an SUV to the foot of the volcano, from where we will begin the climb. The height of the volcano is 1829 meters. The whole ascent usually takes about 6 hours, the climb is convenient and quite difficult for unprepared travelers. The volcano has several craters, some of which are filled with acid lakes of different colors. Lunch on the edge of the crater. After descending from the volcano, we return to the tent camp for the night.

Day 4

Mutnovsky volcano

Excursion to the craters of the Mutnovsky volcano. In the morning, we go on an SUV to the foot of the Mutnovsky volcano, from where we begin the ascent. The tour takes about 4 hours and follows a good tourist trail. We will climb to the edge of one of the craters of the Mutnovsky volcano, where we will see various types of volcanic activity. On the way back we will visit the Dangerous Canyon with the waterfall of the same name. We'll be back in camp tonight.

Day 5

Little Valley of Geysers

Excursion to the Mutnovskaya geothermal power plant and the Small Valley of Geysers. In the morning by SUV we will drive to Mutnovskaya GeoTPP, from where we will start the tour. We will walk along the stations, past the hot springs. Visit the Small Valley of Geysers with its unique landscape. We'll have lunch and go to the posh. Paratunka, famous for its hot springs. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Moving to the North of Kamchatka

We'll take an SUV to the pos in the morning. Kozyrevsk, on the way we will stop for lunch in a roadside cafe. For the night we will stay in guest houses and go to a real Russian bath.

Day crossing - 520 km.

Day 7

Volcano Tolbachik

In the morning we go to the Tolbachik volcano. On this day, we will go on an SUV to the tracks of the Big Tolbachinsky fissure eruption (BTTI) of 1975. Climb the cones of the Northern breakthrough (1100 m), which have not cooled for more than forty years. Let's make lunch at the volcano crater. For the night we will stop in the Dead Forest, which died in a catastrophic eruption in 1975. Overnight in tents.

Day 8

Lava fields

In the morning we will go by SUV to the tourist base Kleshnya and to the lava fields of 2012. In 2012, the last eruption of the Tolbachik volcano occurred, as a result of which flows of frozen lava appeared on the surface. On this day we will visit the lava caves, walk along the lava, climb the cone from which the eruption began. On the way back, we will visit the family of Berengian gophers - Eurasian women who are not afraid of a person at all. We'll be back in camp tonight.

Day 9

Star Crater

In the morning we gather camp and go to the old crater Star. We visit lava caves that are almost 300 years old. Return to civilization, dine at the Studena River with a view of the Klyuchevsky volcano. In the evening, we stop in the village of Kozyrevsk in guest houses and take a bath.

Day 10

Return to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

We will spend the whole day on the way back to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. We'll stay at the hotel tonight. A farewell dinner in town.

Day 11

Airport transfer

We will visit the fish market, where we will tell you which caviar and red fish are best brought to friends and family. We leave for the airport and say goodbye.
