Since 2016, it is included in the list of the most beautiful villages of the Russian Federation according to the results of the competition: it is a Karelian village lost in the depths of the Pryazhinsky district. It was founded about four hundred years ago, and is mentioned in the chronicles since 1563.
The ancient settlement has preserved not only detached houses, but also historical appearance. It is noteworthy that the houses in the village go around, in the center of which there is a chapel hidden by a thick tree. The chapel has been standing for 250 years and residents from generation to generation pass on the legend of its miraculous occurrence.
