Raft rafting on the Shuya River

Shuya is one of the most popular rivers in Karelia for active, safe and full of rafting experiences. We suggest you spend three days in the middle section of R. Shuya, where the most interesting spring water thresholds and obstacles.
Dates of arrival: 30.04-02.05.2011; 07.05-09.05.2011; 13.05-15.05.2011; 20.05-22.05.2011; 27.05-29.05.2011; 03.06-05.06.2011; 11.06-13.06. 2011.
Tour programme:
1 day
Meeting at the railway station of Petrozavodsk (train No. 18,382).
Transfer to the beginning of the route: bridge over the Shuya River, near Hautovara (125 km.)
Preparation of equipment for alloying. Instruction, training sessions on the technique of rowing for beginners. Lunch in the field.
Floating along the Shuya River to the Sizovsky Threshold (2-3 hp) Along the way, several sills and a 1 cc Shiver (11 km)
Dinner and overnight in the field.

Breakfast. Floating on the river Shuya: pore.Sizovsky - pore.Ostrovnoy - Obost Ignoilskaya HPP - pore Kenyaikoski (3-4 hp) - pore. Mal. Valoine, pore. Sarikoski, pore. Kumio (3-4 hp) (25 km)
Lunch in the field. The decision to pass the pores. Keniaikoski and pore. Kumio is accepted by the instructor depending on the water level and the readiness of the group.
Dinner and overnight in the field.

Breakfast. rafting along the Shuya River to Sodder p. (10 km.).
Lunch in the field.
Transfer to Petrozavodsk (100 km.) Departure by evening trains.
Cost: 5400 rubles. Man.
The price includes: rental of equipment for alloying: rafts, oars, helmets, life jackets, sealed packages, boat engine, rental of equipment for the camp: campfire equipment, tents, sleeping bags, thermal insulation mats, transfers under the program, three meals a day, the work of instructors, insurance.

The route schedule and parking places can be adjusted on site depending on the weather and condition of the group. The decision to pass or bypass the thresholds of 3-4 hp depends on the water level and the readiness of the group.
