Podolsk exhibition hall

Downtown G. Podolsk on Lenin Square is one of the best exhibition halls in the Moscow region - Podilsky Exhibition Hall. Its total area is 2000 meters, the exhibition area is 1100 meters. Moreover, the exposition area can be strengthened several times by mobile stands, they serve as a separation of the topic or, conversely, its generalization.

The exhibition hall was opened in 1977. During this time, a number of large-scale exhibition projects were held in the modern exhibition activity of the hall with the participation of the Russian Academy of Arts, as well as the largest museums of Russia: the State Historical Museum (1990-2000), the State Museum of the Revolution of the USSR (1988-1990), the Kuskovo Museum-Estate (1987-1994), the Serpukhov Historical and Art Museum (1988-1994), the All-Union Museum of Decorative and Applied and Folk Art (2003-2006), the studio of military artists named after M. Grekov, the Fersman Museum of Mineralogy (2003-2007), the Central Archive of the Russian Federation, etc.

In exposition and exhibition practice, various technical means (light effects, musical accompaniment) are used, specially prepared programs and films are demonstrated.

Every year, the exhibition hall holds city-wide and regional festivals of children's creativity.

The influence of the exhibition hall on the formation and development of cultural processes in the city life is multifaceted.
