Excursion to the island, bus tour from Pskov

The island is an ancient Russian city, first mentioned in the chronicle in 1341. Today, the main attraction and symbol of the city are the unique chain bridges over the Great River, built in 1853. Also notable are the monument to Claudia Nazarova, the oldest stone building of the city - the Church of Nicholas the Wonderworker in Zastenye in 1542, and the city museum of local lore.

As part of the tour, you will also visit the Stalin Line museum complex. The complex is a fortification of the late 30s of the twentieth century in the form of dots with field fortifications - trenches, dugouts, various anti-personnel and anti-tank obstacles and barriers, a collection of rare equipment, a memorial military burial.

• 12:30 – 13:45 – tour of the museum complex “Stalin Line”.
• 14:30 – 15:15 – lunch in the Island.
• 15:15 – 16:00 – tour of the island (suspension bridges, a monument to Claudia Nazarova, the Church of Nicholas the Wonderworker).
• 16:00 - 17:00 - excursion to the local history museum of Ostrov.
• 17:00 – departure to Pskov (60 km).
• 18:00 – arrival in Pskov
