Individual author's excursion "Pskov to UNESCO"

July 7, 2019 is a new, important, significant date in the history of our city. On this day, the 43rd session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee included monuments of ancient Pskov in the World Heritage List.

10 objects are included in this list: the Cathedral of John the Forerunner of the Ivanovo Monastery, the Transfiguration Cathedral of the Mirozhsky Monastery, the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin of the Snetogorsk Monastery, the Church of Michael the Archangel, the Church of the Intercession and Nativity from Prolom, the Church of Cosma and Damian from Primostia, the Church of St. George from the Plaza, the Church of Epiphany from Zapskovia, the Church of Nikola from Usokhi and the Church of Vasily on Gorka.

It is with great pride that we present to the guests of Pskov our new, exclusive excursion – “Pskov to UNESCO”.

In 5 hours you can see all 10 objects, our unique collection of temples, from the 12th to the 16th century.

The Transfiguration Cathedral of the Mirozhsky Monastery is a museum object. Inspection of frescoes is possible only in dry weather, daily, except Mondays and the last Tuesday of the month, from 10:00 to 17:00, for an additional fee.

The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin of Snetogorsk Monastery is a religious object. Inspection of the frescoes is possible daily, at 12:00 and 14:00, for donation. The show is carried out with a group of 4 people.

Entrance tickets for visiting frescoes in the Myrozhsky Monastery (under suitable weather conditions): 250 rubles / adults, 150 rubles / pensioners, students and children

Museum tour in the Transfiguration Church - from 1300 rubles.
