It is impossible to visit the Pskov land and feel it until the end without visiting the unique historical, literary and natural landscape museum-reserve named after A.S. Pushkin. Here, in his father’s land, Pushkin received an impetus to all his work in the future. The Pushkin Mountains were for the great poet a home, an office, a haven of tranquility, labor and inspiration. We will visit the “poet’s disgraced house” in Mikhailovsky, the last refuge of the great Russian genius – his grave at the walls of the Assumption Church of the Svyatogorsk Monastery.
Dovlatov House-Museum in Pushkin Mountains is the only one in Russia and is located only 2 km from Mikhailovsky. It was part of this house that he filmed, working here as a tour guide in 1977, and it was the Pushkin Reserve that became the prototype of his story “Reserve”. Be prepared, the stories from the book will come to life before your eyes.
