Sightseeing tour of Pskov

Get to know the history of the city in a few hours? Easy if you go on our sightseeing tour of Pskov! We included in the route not only a walk around the Kremlin and the city center, but also distant sights that are definitely worth seeing. Monument “in memory of the Battle of the Ice”, Olga Chapel, the Cathedral of the Nativity of John the Forerunner, Pokrovsky and Varlaamovsky complexes accompanied by guides who know and love their city.

What awaits you on the tour?

Acquaintance with the landmarks of Pskov, panoramic views and the history of the city from the Middle Ages to the present day.

Excursion programme:

11:45 – meeting at Lenin Square (Lenin Square 1)

12:00 – 14:00 – Olginsky chapel, the Cathedral of the Nativity of John the Forerunner of the XII century, the monument “in memory of the Ice Battle” Varlaamovsky complex, the confluence of the Pskov and Great rivers.

14:15 – 16:00 – visit to the Pskov Kremlin, the Trinity Cathedral and the Dovmont city. Free time (at least 45 minutes).

16:00 – 17:30 – travel through the central streets of the city, the Pokrovsky complex and the Children’s Park (the monument to Princess Olga, temples from the UNESCO World Heritage List, the sculpture “Skobar”, the governor’s house and the sculptural composition “Two Captains”).

17:45 – the end of the program in the city center (Children’s Park). If necessary, transfer to the Pskov railway station (on request, do not forget to note when booking)

  Features of the route: for visiting temples and monasteries on the route, girls are recommended to cover their heads. The tour format is bus and pedestrian, a number of short crossings and a number of pedestrian exits are provided.
