Pushkin Mountains

The family estate "Mikhaylovskoye", in which Alexander Sergeevich spent two years of exile, the necropolis of Hannibalov-Pushkins in the Svyatogorsk monastery and the estate of his great-uncle "Petrovskoye" (on Wednesdays) or the Osipov family and Wolf "Trigorskoye" (on Fridays) in our tour of Pushkinogory with departure from Pskov.

What awaits you on the tour? Immersion in the Pushkin era, acquaintance with the family and the inner circle of the poet, with the life of the XIX century and poems, performed by our guides.

Friday excursion program:

08:40 – meeting at Lenin Square (Lenin Square 1)

09:00 – 10:45 – transfer to the Pushkin Mountains (120 km). Track tour.

10:45 – 11:15 – technical stop in the Scientific and Cultural Center, moving to the Mikhailovskoye estate

11:30 – 13:30 – excursion to the estate “Mikhaylovskoye” (master’s house, wing “bath – babysitter’s house”, wing “kitchen”, French regular park). Free time after the tour.

13:45 – 14:45 – excursion to Svyatogorsk Monastery (Necropolis of Hannibalov-Pushkins). Free time (at least 30 minutes).

15:00 – 16:45 – tour of the estate “Trigorskoye” (Lord’s House, English Park). Free time after the tour.

16:45 – 18:45 – transfer to Pskov (120 km) with two stops: railway station and Lenin Square.

Wednesday excursion programme:

10:45 – 11:15 – technical stop at the Scientific and Cultural Center, moving to the Petrovskoye estate

11:30 – 13:15 – tour of the estate “Petrovskoye” (the house-museum of Abram Petrovich Hannibal (the great-grandfather of the poet), the house-museum of Peter Abramovich and Veniamin Petrovich Hannibalov (cousin and uncle of the poet). Free time after the tour.

13:30 - 15:30 - excursion to the estate "Mikhaylovskoye" (master's house, wing "bath - babysitter's house", wing "kitchen", French regular park). Free time after the tour.

15:45 – 16:45 – excursion to Svyatogorsk Monastery (Necropolis of Hannibalov-Pushkins). Free time (at least 30 minutes).

16:45 – 18:45 – transfer to Pskov (120 km) with two stops: railway station and Lenin Square.

The cost of the tour:

  Features of the route: in the summer in the parks a large number of insects, we recommend to take repellents with you. To visit the Svyatogorsk monastery, girls are recommended to have a covering on their heads.

  Where to eat on the route? We do not offer complex lunches because it is expensive and not always delicious. You can take a snack with you and have a picnic along the route. And you can get acquainted with the local catering:

• In the Mikhailovsky estate: Pushkin puffs and summer cafe "Berezka"
• in the estate "Trigorskoye": coffee house "Wulf"
• in the estate "Petrovskoye": cafe "KuchelBeker"
