Talab

We invite you to a tour of two Talab Islands: Belov Island and Zalit Island. The lines of the ancient chronicle read: “There are three wonderful islands in Lake Pskovskoe...” These are the islands of the Talab archipelago, which were inhabited in the XI century.

Excursion to the Upper Island (Belov Island) - The Church of Saints Peter and Paul belonging to the monastery founded in the XV century by St. Dositheus of Verkhneostrovsk, a walk on the island, a bowing cross to St. Dositheus.

Excursion to the island of Talabsk (Zalita island) - Visit to the temple of St. Nicholas XVIII century Icon of the Mother of God Holy Heaven (Smolensk), the tomb of Archpriest Nikolai Guryanov.

Transfer to the islands is carried out by high-speed boats and / or boats depending on the size of the group. Departure to the islands from Pskov from the pier in the city center or from the village of Bolshaya Tolba (transfer to B. Tolba is included in the service price).

The tour takes place on Thursdays, the start of the tour at 09.00 in the center of the city of Pskov. You will find out the exact meeting place before the tour.
