Real, residential islands in the middle of Lake Pskov. For those who are looking for a non-standard excursion, likes the rustic flavor, boat trips and hiking.

What awaits you on the tour? Walk on two islands in Lake Pskov. O. Zalit is a fishing village, where the famous Elder Nikolai (Guryanov) and Belov served for 44 years - with a hiking trail that passes through three non-man-made groves: spruce, deciduous and pine.

Excursion programme:

09:30 – meeting at Lenin Square (Lenin Square 1).

09:50 – 10:30 – moving to Tolba (28 km). Track tour.

10:30 – 10:50 – boarding boats. Moving to Belov Island.

11:00 – 13:10 – tour of Belov Island (Temple of Peter and Paul, Dosifeev Hill). For those who wish - a walk through the spruce, deciduous and pine grove (4 km), or free time for rest.

13:15 – 13:30 – moving to Zalit Island.

13:30 – 15:00 – excursion on the island of Zalit (the embankment and upper streets, a view of the Maly Ksut Strait, a monument to the dead revolutionaries, the house of Elder Nikolai Guryanov, Nikolsky temple).

15:00 – 16:00 – free time on the island of Zalit. In your free time, you can submit notes in the St. Nicholas Church, buy delicious smoked fish from local residents, or relax on the shore of the lake.

16:00 – 16:15 – moving to Tolba.

16:15 – 17:00 – transfer to Pskov (28 km) with two stops: Lenin Square and railway station.

  Features of the route: for visiting temples on the route, girls are recommended to cover their heads. On the island of Belov there is an option to choose the excursion program yourself: you can either go with a guide for a walk through the groves (the route is 4 km, the group runs at an average pace of 1 hour), or stay on the village beach.

  Where to eat on the route? We do not offer complex lunches because it is expensive and not always delicious. You can take a snack with you and have a picnic along the route. Or you can buy fish from local residents or look at the local store on the island of Zalit.
