Iron City, Izborsk
Description:
On this tour you will get acquainted with the history of Ancient Izborsk, a city more ancient than Pskov. You will see an impregnable fortress on Zheravie Hill, climb the fortress walls, from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Izborsko-Maly valley. We will visit the ancient St. Nicholas Cathedral, which never closed and witnessed many historical events. You will enter the towers. Visit the legendary Slovenian keys, the water in which is considered holy.
Walk to the ancient Truvorov settlement. You will see the wonderful landscape of the Izborsk-Male valley, a unique object, a natural monument, the territory of which is part of the State Historical, Architectural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve "Izborsk".
The price includes:
- Excursion on the transport of the customer
It is possible to conduct an excursion on the transport of a guide (up to 3 people) or rented transport. Transportation services are paid additionally, the price is contractual.
In addition, entrance tickets to the fortress are paid, 200 rubles per person per adult.
