Upper Grid Tower

Description:
The tower of the upper grilles, located in Pskov, is considered the highest, the height is 25 meters.
In the lower part there is a stone arch through which the waters of a passing stream fall into the fortress. Previously, the arch was protected by an iron grille, which was installed for a certain time to protect against enemies, hence the unusual name.
The tower of the Vern grids is at the bottom of the ravine. Its upper tier was set aside for weapons storage. In the tent itself there is a guard, from where you can track the approaches to the fortress and the entire surrounding area. The tower has such a structure because it used to be a military facility.
From the tourist site you can enjoy picturesque views. The tower is considered an interesting sight of Pskov, because once it was a military fortification.
