Description:
In the western part of the Pluska volost there is Lake Long. It is located on the territory of the Pskov region in the Plus district. With an area of 163.3 hectares, including islands, this lake is quite deep, as the maximum depth level reaches more than twenty-one meters. The lake is sewage and belongs to the basin of the Dolzhanka River.
Lake Long is a real fishland, as here you can see a massive number of freshwater inhabitants. This is a truly magical place that delights anyone who has ever been here. The nature surrounding a truly deep lake is simply impressive with high pine trees, crystal clear air and storks, which are here in huge numbers.
Features of the lake are sloping and steep banks, also here you can find a significant number of wetlands. In the fundamental zone there is silt and silted sand.
