Pskov lake

Pskov Lake is part of a large lake complex, completely located on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Tourists come here to enjoy the landscapes, fish away from the worldly bustle, join the holy places. The lake has an oval shape with low banks and fifteen scattered islands. Its area is 708 m2. It is shallow, so in the flood the shores are often flooded. It freezes quickly in winter. Guesthouses, cottages, recreation centers on its shore with equipped beaches attract many tourists, especially in summer. There are wild beaches here.

Nearby you can visit monuments, temples and other interesting places. Here you can ride boats, catamarans, ATVs and bicycles, rent fishing equipment.

Tourists often visit the island of Zalit, on its territory is the Temple of Nicholas the Wonderworker (1585). You can get here from Pskov by suburban bus (several route options). Also by car or taxi.
