Warm lake
Description:
In the lake complex Warm Lake is located in the middle between Pskov and Peipus Lake. The parameters of the reservoir are very impressive. Its area is more than 200 square kilometers. The maximum depth in the lake reaches up to 15 meters.
Interestingly, the lake belongs to two states. On the one hand, it is controlled by Russia, specifically the Pskov region, and on the other hand by Estonia. The border between the countries is drawn figuratively. Only border guards know the line in the north between the islands of Telyachya Sukhman and Ozolots, and in the south between the islands of Old Mtezh and Salu.
Several small rivers flow into the Warm Lake - Vyhandu and Rove. Due to this, the water in the reservoir is always clean and there are many fish. The most common are nets. It looks like a northern smelt. Delicious in both fried and dried form.
