Petrovsky Estate

Pskov region, Pushkinogorsky district

Description:

Petrovsky Estate is located in the Pskov region, and it is also called “Pushkin Reserve”. The fact is that it belonged to the ancestors of the great Russian poet, and it was with this place that Pushkin had many memories, as evidenced by the numerous works written in these parts.

The house of Abram Petrovich Hannibal can be safely called the main attraction of this open-air museum. Many household items of the family have been preserved here, as well as some art objects of the 18th century. In 1786, the beautiful Petrovsky Park was built around the owner’s house, the structure of which has survived to this day. Here you can find trees that were planted under the first owners – the Hannibal family. And from the "Green Cabinet" opens the best view of all the most beautiful places of the estate.

To get to the Petrovsky estate, you need to find the Pushkin Mountains village on the map of the Pskov region. You can get here by personal vehicle - from Pskov about 7 kilometers, either with a guide or by taxi.
