Lake Yass

Allolskaya volost, Pustoshkinsky district Pskov region.

Description:

Yasskoye Lake, whose area is about 550 hectares, is rightfully one of the largest reservoirs of Pustoshkinsky district. A characteristic feature of this lake is the “cut” of the shores, since the deep bays of the lake are surrounded by peninsulas and small islets. The greatest depth of Lake Iasi reaches 24 meters.

It is worth noting that the Yasskoye Lake is flowing, since the Great River flows from it. This lake is of great interest to avid anglers, because there is a huge amount of fish, and a variety of species and, accordingly, sizes: perch, bream, ulcer, red-peaker, grouse, roach, sheen and others.

Lake Yasskoye is one of the most beautiful reservoirs not only in the Pskov region, but also in the whole country. Not far from the location of the reservoir there are bases for tourists, from which it is extremely easy to get to the desired corner, which will immerse you in stunningly beautiful nature and a pleasant atmosphere.
