Žižice lake
Description:
Lake Zhizhitskoe is really impressive in size. Its area is more than 50 square kilometers. The lake is not only large, but also deep. There are places where the bottom is more than seven meters.
Due to the large parameters of the reservoir, it contains dozens of islands, which together make up an area of approximately 130 hectares.
Zhizhitskoe is a flowing lake. Next to it is Lake Jacto, with which they are connected by the river Žižice. The stormy stream picks up the water of the lakes and carries it to the Western Dvina River.
As for fishing, there is no better place in the Pskov region. In Zhizhitsky there are perch, crucifix, bream, shedding, catfish, vin, ulcer and many others. A delicacy is considered an eel that is not so easy to catch.
