Military Historical Museum-Reserve - Island

The events of the Great Patriotic War were reflected in the expositions of the military-historical department. It presents collections of small arms, artillery, aviation weapons, equipment and ammunition collected at the battlefields in the Pskov region.

The exhibition contains rare samples of weapons of the USSR and Russia, the USA, Japan, Great Britain and Germany, as well as photos, documents, personal belongings related to specific people and episodes of the war.

In the Hall of military uniforms exhibited samples of uniforms, equipment of the warring countries, communication equipment, means of protection. The uniqueness of the exposition lies in the fact that it presents authentic samples of uniforms of soldiers of the Red Army and the Wehrmacht army, as well as other countries, including modern ones.
