Thursday

10:25 – arrival of train No. 809 “Lastochka” at the Pskov railway station. Meeting with a guide inside the railway station building (central entrance) with a sign "I am PSKOV".

 

10:30 – 15:00 – departure for an extended sightseeing bus and walking tour of Pskov.

Sightseeing, bus tour of Pskov tells not only about the ancient, but also about the modern city. You will drive along the central streets of Pskov, get acquainted with its main attractions and learn about the history of the city in different periods of the formation of the state.

10:30 – departure for the tour “Talab Islands” (Zalit Island, Belov Island, Spaso-Eleazarovsky Monastery).

"There are three wonderful islands in Lake Pskovskoe ..." - so write ancient books about Talabs. Indeed, the Talab Islands are one of the few inhabited islands in Russia with its own history, culture, distinctive way of life and even climate. As part of the excursion, you will have a water walk along the surface of the Pskov Lake, a visit to the island of Zalit, with a visit to the temple of Nicholas the Wonderworker, where for more than 40 years the rector served as the world-famous father Nikolai Guryanov, who became the prototype of the hero of the film "The Island", as well as a walk on the island of Belov - a real paradise of wildlife, where there is a large variety of birds, including those listed in the red book.

On the way to Pskov, you will stop at the Spaso-Eleazarovsky Women’s Monastery, where since ancient times the monks-ascetics, monks-scientists, spiritual elders lived. In the 20th century, with the change of the state regime, the monastery was closed, the monks were shot. In 2000, the ancient Savior-Eleazar monastery began to revive as a female monastery. Now, after its abolition and ruin, it regains its former significance.

10:30 – 11:30 – transfer to the place of departure of the boat to the Talab Islands.

11:30 – departure by boat to the island of Zalit.

11:45 – 13:00 – visit Zalit Island (excursion, free time).

13:00 – 13:45 – lunch on the island of Zalit.

13:45 – 14:00 – departure by boat to Belov Island.

14:00 – 16:00 – visit Belov Island (excursion, free time).

16:10 – departure by boat to Tolbitsa.

16:30 – 17:30 – excursion to the Spaso – Eleazarovsky convent.

17:30 – departure to Pskov (30 km).

11:00 – departure for the author’s gastronomic tour “EAT”.

11:30 – 12:30 – visit to the farm “Rural estate”. Tour of the berry plantation, tasting.

Farm "Rural estate" is located in a unique corner of the Pskov region, which is known for its ecology and beauty - in the Pechora district, on the shore of Lake Pskov. The main culture of farming is raspberries (which are grown here up to 40 varieties), as well as blueberries, blackberries, currants and others.

13:00 – 14:30 – visit to the eco-farm “Izborsky ostrich”. Excursion to the eco-farm, group lunch.

Ecofarm "Izborsky ostrich" is a unique space for recreation, when visiting which you will get the opportunity to meet amazing representatives of the equatorial fauna, black African ostriches. Ostriches are able to interest not only their unforgettable appearance, but also the characteristics of behavior: these are birds that can not fly, but are able to run at speeds up to 70 km / h. During the tour you can learn all about African ostriches, ask questions and, of course, feed these cheerful and curious birds.

15:00 – 16:30 – interactive program at the Seto Museum “Visiting Grandma Kulaots”, tasting the national cuisine of Seto.

Museum-estate of the Seto people in d. Sigovo is the only museum in Russia of small Finno-Ugric people who have preserved a unique material and spiritual culture. You will hear an interesting excursion about the life and culture of the Seto people, you can immerse yourself in the cozy atmosphere of a village house, as well as enjoy dishes of national cuisine.

After 17:30 transfer to the hotel. Free time.

11:30 – departure for an excursion to Izborsk and Pechora.

Near Pskov, just 30 kilometers away, is the village of Stary Izborsk. By the way, in the Middle Ages, Izborsk was a large city through which trade routes passed, and was one of the 10 oldest cities of Russia (the first mention of Izborsk in the chronicle dates back to 862). 20 kilometers from Izborsk, on the very border of Russia, there is a pearl of the Pskov land - the Holy Dormition Pskov-Pechersk Monastery. It is the only monastery in the whole of Russia, where the service has been going on continuously since 1473. The monastery operated both in the years of Soviet power and during the Great Patriotic War. But our monastery is not only a holy monastery, but also a fortress that fought from the time of Ivan the Terrible to the time of Peter I.

11:30 – 12:00 – transfer to Izborsk (30 km). Track tour.

12:00 – 14:00 – excursion to Izborsk (Izborsk fortress of XIV-XVI centuries, Slovenian keys).

14:00 – 14:30 – moving to Pechora (20 km). Track tour.

14:30 – 15:15 – lunch in Pechora.

15:30 – 17:15 – visit to the Pskov-Pechersk monastery. Tour, free time.

17:30 – Departure to Pskov (52 km).

18:00 – end of the program, transfer to the railway station.
