Near Pskov, just 30 kilometers away, is the village of Old Izborsk. By the way, in the Middle Ages, Izborsk was a large city through which trade routes passed, and was one of the 10 oldest cities of Russia (the first mention of Izborsk in the chronicle dates back to 862). 20 kilometers from Izborsk, on the very border of Russia, there is a pearl of the Pskov land - the Holy Dormition Pskov-Pechersk Monastery. It is the only monastery in the whole of Russia, where the service has been going on continuously since 1473. The monastery operated both in the years of Soviet power and during the Great Patriotic War. But our monastery is not only a holy monastery, but also a fortress that fought from the time of Ivan the Terrible to the time of Peter I.

08:15 – 11:00 – moving to Polistovsky Reserve (210 km). Get on the bus with luggage.

11:00 – excursion on the eco-path “Plavnitsky swamp”.

Polistovsky Reserve is one of the few wildlife islands preserved in the European part of Russia. This edge of lakes, upland swamps, "diving" rivers appeared here after the retreat of the Valdai glacier more than 10 thousand years ago. As part of the excursion, you will visit the route "Plavnitsky swamp", where you will see plants that hold the weight of a person with their roots, amazing marsh orchids, moose forage areas and "borderline" bear marks, "witch broom", as well as many other amazing beauties of the Polistovsky Reserve.

15:00 – 15:45 – lunch in Tsevlo.

16:00 – departure to the Pushkin Mountains (100 km).

After 17:30 – arrival at the hotel in Pushkin Mountains. Room accommodation. Free time.

Tuesday.

09:00 – 11:00 – breakfast at the hotel. Free time.

11:30 – 12:30 – excursion #reserve to the house – S.D. Dovlatov Museum.

On the territory of Pushkinogory there is a memorial museum, which is the only museum of Sergei Donatovich Dovlatov in Russia. The name of Dovlatov in the Pushkin Mountains is not accidental, here he worked as a tour guide in the summer of 1977, led excursions in Mikhailovsky and Trigorsky. In the house where the writer rented a room and a small private museum.

13:00 – 13:45 – lunch in the Pushkin Mountains.

It is impossible to visit the Pskov land and feel it until the end without visiting the unique historical, literary and natural landscape museum-reserve named after A.S. Pushkin. Here, in his father’s land, Pushkin received an impetus to all his work in the future. The Pushkin Mountains were for the great poet a home, an office, a haven of calm, work and inspiration. We will visit the “poet’s disgraced house” in Mikhailovsky, the last refuge of the great Russian genius – his grave near the walls of the Assumption Church of the Svyatogorsk Monastery, as well as the estate of Alexander Sergeevich’s closest friends, the Osipov-Wulf family, the “house of the Larins” in Trigorsky.

11:00 – 13:00 – excursion to the Mikhailovsky estate.

13:15 – 14:00 – excursion to the Svyatogorsk monastery with a visit to the grave of A.S. Pushkin.

14:15 – 15:00 – lunch in the Pushkin Mountains.

15:30 – 17:30 – tour of the Trigorskoye estate.

"There are three wonderful islands in Lake Pskovskoe ..." - so write ancient books about Talabs. Indeed, the Talab Islands are one of the few inhabited islands in Russia with its own history, culture, distinctive way of life and even climate. As part of the excursion, you will have a water walk along the surface of the Pskov Lake, a visit to the island of Zalit, with a visit to the temple of Nicholas the Wonderworker, where for more than 40 years the rector served as the world-famous father Nikolai Guryanov, who became the prototype of the hero of the film "The Island", as well as a walk on the island of Belov - a real paradise of wildlife, where there is a large variety of birds, including those listed in the red book.

On the way to Pskov, you will stop at the Spaso-Eleazarovsky Women’s Monastery, where since ancient times the monks-ascetics, monks-scientists, spiritual elders lived. In the 20th century, with the change of the state regime, the monastery was closed, the monks were shot. In 2000, the ancient Savior-Eleazar monastery began to revive as a female monastery. Now, after its abolition and ruin, it regains its former significance.

Ecofarm "Izborsky ostrich" is a unique space for recreation, when visiting which you will get the opportunity to meet amazing representatives of the equatorial fauna, black African ostriches. Ostriches are able to interest not only their unforgettable appearance, but also the characteristics of behavior: these are birds that can not fly, but are able to run at speeds up to 70 km / h. During the tour you can learn all about African ostriches, ask questions and, of course, feed these cheerful and curious birds.

15:00 – 16:30 – interactive program at the Seto Museum “Visiting Grandma Kulaots”, tasting the national cuisine of Seto.
