Pushkinskiye Gory

Alley Tatiana in the city of Pushkin Mountains

Description:

Trigorskoye is the famous estate of the Osipov-Wulf, friends of the great poet, with whom Pushkin communicated especially closely during the period of Mikhailovsky exile. Like all other estates of the Pushkin Mountains, it was burned in 1918. The restoration of Trigorsk began after the war. By 1962, the manor house was restored, and by 1978 - the bathhouse, which served not only as a place for washing, but as a garden house, in which A.S. Pushkin loved to rest.

Over time, some corners of the park began to acquire the “status” of their own names: “el tent”, “alley of Tatiana”, “secure oak”, “birch saddle”, “bench of Onegin”, etc. Memorial trees and literary names of various parts of the park are perceived by us as once glorified by the poet. It is as if they bear a memory of him.

To the “alley of Tatiana” you can go from the sundial, a kind of continuation of the oak alley, which, directly opposite the “oak of secluded” changes into lindens planted close to each other in the “alley of Tatiana”. These trees are very old, their age is about 230-240 years.
