Spruce alley in the village of Pushkin Mountains
Pskov region, near the highway P58
Description:
Spruce alley is located in the Pushkin Mountains in Mikhailovsky Park, which was broken by the poet’s grandfather in the late 18th century.
A wide spruce alley, which once served as the entrance to the estate, runs through the entire park. In the alley you can see several preserved two-hundred-year-old Hannibal trees.
In 1947, on the sites of lost trees, the reserve employees planted new ones, which have already grown noticeably. At the end of the alley you can see the restored Hannibal-Pushkin family chapel.
