Island of seclusion
Description:
Walking through the museum-reserve of Mikhailovskoye in the Pushkin Mountains, it is impossible not to come across a small island, which locals refer to as the “island of solitude”.
On the island there is a bench, located on which, you can reflect on life or fantasize about those distant times, when one of the best poets of Russia - Alexander Pushkin walked along this park.
The Mikhailovsky Museum-Reserve was founded on March 17, 1922. In addition to the excellent park, in Mikhailovsky you can visit the Museum “Mill in the village of Bugrovo” and the Holy Assumption Monastery.
