Baduk Lakes is one of the most beautiful routes of Dombai to three mountain lakes.

All three lakes are very picturesque and therefore are one of the most popular attractions of the Teberdinsky Reserve, on the territory of which they are located.
The route to Baduk Lakes will take 4-5 hours and is considered a one-day hike. But before you see the beauty of mountain lakes, you will have to sweat pretty much, overcoming ascent after ascent. There is a well-maintained marker trail to the lakes, it is impossible to walk freely through the forest outside the eco-marchroute, since this is a protected area.

Baduk lakes are located on the Baduk River, and are flowing, the water from the river consistently flows through all three lakes. The lakes are located at an altitude of 2000 meters, which makes the water in them very cold.

The length of the route is four kilometers in one direction. The altitude difference is 700 meters. If you move slowly and make stops, the round trip will take about six hours.

Around the Baduk lakes there are stunningly beautiful views at any time of the year. Mountain peaks, coniferous and deciduous forests are reflected in the water surface as in a mirror. The air here is clean and fresh.
