Our way will pass through Terskol Gorge. The western part of this gorge is formed by frozen streams of magma and is full of platelet outlets of basalt.
The eastern side is more canopy: suitable for trekking exits, has numerous observation decks.
The main advantages of the Terskolks Gorge are beautiful nature, coniferous forests, mountain meadows, an unusual waterfall, a hanging glacier and a massive peak of Terskol-Akbashi (3769 m).
At the beginning of the way, along the road, there is a lot of wild raspberries that keep up by mid-August, then we are waiting for alpine meadows with a scattering of orgom stones.
The top of the gorge is "closed" by a transverse spur. Only when we reach the end of the valley will we see our goal. Terskol waterfall is located on the western slope and noisily breaks down from a high wall of many columnar basalts.
At the waterfall, we arrange a photo shoot, organize a picnic and move down.
On the way back, you can visit the thermal springs "Geduko", the cost of arrival 1000 rubles + additional costs: 200 rubles / person for visiting the source.
